Project.BB is building a robotic solution to clean the beach. It has high ambitions and wants to start a movement to change the mindset on littering. The company's prototype uses a trained image recognition algorithm for machines and can already recognise cigarette butts. The robot picks up a cigarette that is recognised with sufficient certainty and throws it into its waste bin. If the robot does not recognise waste, people will be called in to help.
